<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging vessel 1 including a vessel body 10 accommodating a content and a lid 20 closing an opening of the vessel body, the vessel body 10 and the lid 20 being integrally formed via a hinge 30, which prevents the lid 10 from being carelessly detached while the lid can be easily closed during closing the lid. <P>SOLUTION: Engagement parts 40 and 50 engaging with each other and extending circumferentially are formed in a vertical part 14 of the body and in the corner on the opening/closing end side facing the hinge of the vertical part 24 of the lid. A vertical recessed groove 43 recessed inward of the vessel is formed in the engagement part 40 of the vertical part 14 of the body to be located inward of the vessel during closing the lid. Since the recessed groove 43 deforms when the lid is closed, the diameter of the engagement part 40 of the vertical part 14 of the body easily reduces to facilitate the engagement operation of the engagement parts 40 and 50 with each other.
