<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a weather strip allowing a surface-treated layer of a die mold part of a weather strip to be formed energy efficiently and inexpensively. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of manufacturing the weather strip 1 including a linear part 2 and a corner part 3 which are made by extrusion molding, the die mold part is formed by a die mold part molding machine and a coating dryer. The coating dryer is installed in the vicinity of the die mold part molding device. The coating dryer includes a setting area, a drying area, and a coating area. The weather strip 1 is set to a pallet in the setting area as soon as the corner part 3 is formed. A surface treating agent coating device is slid laterally in the coating area, and the pallet is rotated to coat the surface treating agent onto the corner part 3. The pallet is moved into the drying area in order to dry the surface treating agent of the die mold part, thereby forming the surface-treated layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
