<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking assist system capable of saving the trouble of setting a parking frame in a daily-used parking area. <P>SOLUTION: A parking assist sheet 40 is arranged in a corner part of a target parking zone. On the parking assist sheet 40, markings for determining positions of a corner point of the parking zone and two orthogonal parking frame lines leading out of the corner point are drawn. When a camera image captured by a CCD camera 10 is processed by an image processing ECU 20 and, thereby, the parking assist sheet 40 is detected in the camera image, a vehicle peripheral image where a virtual corner pole indicating a corner position, virtual parking frame lines, and shortest distances from the virtual parking frame lines to the vehicle are displayed by being superimposed, is displayed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
