PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device that establishes an imaging field angle exceeding a range of the field angle which varies with drive of an optical system. SOLUTION: The imaging device has: an imaging unit (33) which has an imaging plane photographing an image by an imaging optical system (L) in which field angle adjustment is possible; a memory unit (35) which memorizes the imaging field angle information; and a control unit (38) which controls a using range (R) of the imaging plane according to the imaging field angle information while reading out the imaging field angle information from the memory unit based on user's instruction.
