PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for installing an inner wall panel in a building, which can improve heat insulating properties. SOLUTION: This building 10 includes a floor surface material 16 which forms a floor surface 26, and a ceiling surface material 19 which forms a ceiling surface 29. An outer wall panel 21 is provided on the outer peripheral section of the building 10. An inner wall panel 30 is fixed on the indoor side of the outer wall panel 21. The inner wall panel 30 includes an inner wall material 31 which forms an indoor surface, and an inner wall frame 32 which is fixed on the backside of the inner wall material 31. A long heat insulating material 38 made of an elastic material is attached along each of upper and lower ends of the inner wall panel 30. The inner wall panel 30 is provided between the floor surface material 16 and the ceiling surface material 19; and the heat insulating materials 38 are provided in a compressed state between the lower end of the inner wall panel 30 and the floor surface material 16 and between the upper end of the inner wall panel 30 and the ceiling surface material 19, respectively.
