<p>This invention, is a Wind Turbine with counter-rotating "Wind Paddles". The "Main Cage" spins clockwise while the "Wind Paddles" spin Counter-clockwise. For every 2 revolutions of the "Main Cage", the "Wind paddles" rotate 1 revolution in the opposite direction. This maintains the largest portion of the "Wind Paddle" almostperpendicular to the relative air flow for over 120 degrees of travel. The relative Air flow is also enhanced by the design and shape of the "Main Frame Housing" to redirect all available air through the "Wind Paddles". The housing of "Main Frame" is designed to be installed so that it will automatically weather vein into the up coming wind and provide automatic over speed protection in the case of severe wind by deflecting the wind around the "Main Cage". "The Ultimate Turbine" has 4 rotating axis which allows for more electrical production per revolution. Another major factor is that the "Wind Paddle" moves in the same direction as the Relative air flow unlike traditional turbines which are deflected almost 90 degrees.</p> |
