<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device capable of appropriately correcting the optical path of a laser beam emitted from a light emitting chip with a mounting error, and a method for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The optical pickup device 30 includes: a first light emitting chip 20 and a second light emitting chip 22 for emitting laser beams of predetermined wavelengths; a PDIC 42 for receiving the laser beams emitted from the light emitting chips; and a first optical correction element 11 and a second optical correction element 13 arranged between the PDIC and the light emitting chips. The first optical correction element 11 and the second optical correction element 13 incline a first laser beam 25 by diffraction, and transmit a second laser beam 27 and a third laser beam 29 without being inclined. The optical path of the first laser beam 25 is corrected to a predetermined position as the first laser beam 25 is diffracted by the two correction elements. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
