<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a system power levelling device that can level a system power, even if the power consumption of a load greatly changes at high speed. <P>SOLUTION: The system power leveling device includes: a bidirectional converter 41 connected to a system bus line 9 providing an electric power to a load 3 from a power supply 1 and having switching elements 411, 412; an energy storage device 42 connected to the bidirectional converter; and a control circuit 43 which specifies the power consumption of the load 3, controls the bidirectional converter 41 based on the power consumption to charge and discharge the accumulating device 42, and further specifies the current or power of charge and discharge. The control circuit 43 exerts feedback controls for the ON-OFF operation (switching) of the switching element 411 (412) by pulse width modulation, so that the specified value may come closer to the target value after keeping the ON or OFF of the switching element 411 (412) until a difference between the target value of the current or power of charge and discharge, and the specified value falls under a specified threshold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
