<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a servo writer which can write-in a highly accurate servo signal. <P>SOLUTION: The servo writer 1 includes a servo write-head 51, a write-in signal generating circuit 40 outputting a signal for writing a servo signal in a servo write-head 51, a winding-out device (motor 21A) supplying a magnetic tape MT' from a winding-out reel 21, a winding device (motor 22A) winding the magnetic tape MT' supplied from the winding-out reel 21 by a winding reel 22, and a plurality of tape guides 31-35. Out of a plurality of tape guides 31-35, a first tape guide arranged immediately before the servo-write-head and a second tape guide arranged immediately after it are both guide rollers 32, 33 pivoted rotatably by an air bearing, wherein diameters of the guide rollers 32, 33 are 19 mm or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
