<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for oral cavities, in which the adsorption effect of cetylpyridinium chloride having disinfect activity against bacteria in oral cavities onto the dental surface is improved. <P>SOLUTION: The composition for oral cavities includes a monovalent alcohol selected from among hexanol, octanol, 2-ethyl-1-hexanol and decanol, in a content of 0.02-0.5 mass%, and cetylpyridinium chloride in a content of 0.01-0.3 mass%. Preferably, the composition for oral cavities is obtained by compounding a monovalent alcohol selected from the group consisting of 1-octanol, 1-hexanol and 1-decanol with cetylpyridinium chloride. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
