PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grave capable of holding a memorial service and praying for ancestors, deceased or pets in a simple form without the need of a conventional large-scale grave/gravestone without giving the impression of a religious memorial service at all. SOLUTION: The flat box shape frame grave includes a frame portion and a flat box connected to the back surface, and the flat box in which a part for storing ashes and a part for storing articles of the deceased or the like, are formed by a partition plate. Further, in the method of praying for the ancestors, the deceased or the pets, the remains or ashes of a person or a pet is stored in the part for storing ashes in the flat box shape frame grave, and articles of the person or the pet or the like are stored in the part for storing articles of the deceased or the like, a commemorating character, pattern, picture, or photograph is put on the surface of the frame portion, and the flat box shape frame grave is installed on a wall surface to hold a memorial service.
