PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable instrument for wetting a fingertip in order to solve any serious problem that documents can be hardly flipped, bills can be hardly counted when one is away from home, or a mouth of a vinyl bag can be hardly opened smoothly if the fingertip is dry. SOLUTION: In the portable instrument for wetting the fingertip, a lid (2) is provided on one end of a container (1) with a sponge or the like containing water placed therein, and a hooking part (3) is provided on a back side of the lid (2).
