PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication method that selects an access system according to the data generation interval. SOLUTION: In the wireless communication method of a wireless communication system where terminals communicate with a wireless base station, the wireless base station determines data generation interval as an average value of reception intervals when data is received from the terminals, compares the data generation interval thus obtained with a predetermined reference value, selects a polling system if the data generation interval is less than the reference value, otherwise selects a random access system, and then transmits the selected access system to each terminal.
