<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which can output an image to which a glossy feeling desired by a user is added by controlling image clarity using clear toner. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes an image forming unit which forms a chromatic toner image and a clear toner image on a recording material, and a fixing unit 4 which fixes these toner images on the recording material, and further includes an operation unit 20 for inputting the level of glossiness including the image clarity and the glossiness for the image to be output before image formation and a controller 60 that controls the adhesion amount of clear toner per unit area on the recording material based on input information on the image specified by the specifying unit 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
