<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle travel control system allowing a travelling vehicle to travel along a track. <P>SOLUTION: The travelling vehicle 200 includes a pair of right and left wheels 220R, 220L (as shown in the figure) which are disposed at both sides on the same axis line in a direction perpendicular to a travelling direction, then travels by giving a torque command to the wheels 220R, 220L. A distribution of a friction coefficient is arranged on a friction road surface so that the friction is reduced as departing from the truck L.
