PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alkalinity recovering agent and an alkalinity recovering method which can recover alkalinity not only to the surface layer of a neutralized concrete molded body but also to the deep part thereof, thus maintains the alkaline environment in the concrete molded body by periodically performing application or the like to an existing building, effectively suppresses deterioration in the strength caused by the corrosion of the steel at the inside, and can improve the durability of the concrete molded body. SOLUTION: As the alkalinity recovering agent for a neutralized concrete molded body, the one comprising the following A component in the ratio of 0.1 to 60 mass% and the following B component in the ratio of 40 to 99.9 mass% (total 100 mass%) is used: the A component: an amide compound expressed by formula (wherein, n and m are integers in which the n+m reaches the range of 3 to 15; and R is a 7 to 21C saturated or unsaturated aliphatic hydrocarbon group), and the B component: potassium carbonate.
