PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simulation method and a simulation device capable of highly accurately acquiring an evaluation value at a high speed by using a tire and wheel installation model. SOLUTION: In the simulation method, a step 103 of setting the tire and wheel installation model by using a tire model and a wheel model comprises a step of installing the tire model in the wheel model by deforming a width of a bead of the tire model smaller than a width of a rim of the wheel model, a step of adjusting a position so that a nodal point in the peripheral direction of the tire model and a nodal point in the peripheral direction of the wheel model are set in a different position in a boundary surface between the tire model and the wheel model, and a step of contacting with the wheel model by deforming the tire model by setting an internal pressure condition in the tire model installed in the wheel model.
