PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a casting mold, capable of shortening the period of time for a step of forming a casting mold. SOLUTION: A casting mold is manufactured by supplying coated sand 2 containing binder and refractory aggregate into a die 1, filling the die 1 with it, and blowing water vapor into the die 1, which is filled with the coated sand 2, and heating the coated sand 2. At that time, the water vapor is blown into the die 1 while supplying the coated sand 2 into the die 1. By this method, the water vapor is blown into the die 1 to heat the coated sand 2 by the water vapor while supplying the coated sand 2 into the die 1, so that the period of time required for curing or solidifying the binder in the coated sand 2, which is filled into the die 1, is shortened.
