PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope bending portion capable of preventing a protective net and a skin from falling into a gap between front and back joint rings and stably and holding the bending performance of the bending portion. SOLUTION: A pressurizing ring 20 of an engagement preventing member 19 is provided in a gap part between the adjacent front and back joint rings 11 of the bending portion 5. When bending the bending portion 5, the pressurizing ring 20 is pressurized in the inner side direction of the bend by tensile force acting on a skin tube 18 on the outer side of the bend, the skin tube 18 on the inner side of the bend is pushed out of the gap between the respective joint rings 11, and the skin tube 18 on the inner side of the bend is prevented from being engaged in the gap between the respective joint rings 11.
