PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail of a passenger conveyor capable of using part of components in common with a handrail of the passenger conveyor that uses a handrail panel of a transparent type, and capable of restraining generation/the expansion of a clearance between the components on the handrail panel periphery. SOLUTION: When the handrail panel 6 is deflectively deformed so as to incline to a vertical surface when external force of turning to the inside from the outside in the width direction of a main frame 1 is applied to the handrail panel 6, a U-shaped one end part of a panel side abutting member 13 abuts on an L-shaped tip part of an outer deck side abutting member 17, and the panel side abutting member 13 and the outer deck side abutting member 17 engage with each other. At this time, an outer edge part of the handrail panel 6 is supported by an outer deck 16 and a column 7, and displacement in the direction for opening-separating from the outer deck 16 in the outer edge part of the handrail panel 6, is restricted by engagement between the panel side abutting member 13 and the outer deck side abutting member 17.
