<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely and easily inspect the discharge amount of an adhesive discharge device. <P>SOLUTION: A device for manufacturing an absorbent article by performing processing to a workpiece related to the absorbent article and discharging an adhesive while conveying the workpiece in a conveying direction includes: a first reference signal output part for indicating the conveyance amount of the workpiece; a second reference signal output part; a processing device for performing processing to the workpiece on the basis of driving signals; an adhesive discharge device for discharging the adhesive toward the workpiece on the basis of discharge signals; and a controller for generating the driving signals and the discharge signals. For the manufacture of the absorbent article, the controller generates the driving signals on the basis of first reference signals, outputs them to the processing device, generates the discharge signals on the basis of the first reference signals, and outputs them to the adhesive discharge device. When inspecting the discharge amount of the adhesive, the controller generates the discharge signals on the basis of second reference signals and outputs them to the adhesive discharge device, and does not output the driving signals to the processing device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
