<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing a pulverizing auxiliary having not less than the same degree of pulverization efficiency and strength of a hydraulic composition obtained as those of ethylene glycol from glycerin and methanol which can utilize reproducible raw materials. <P>SOLUTION: The process for producing a pulverizing auxiliary for hydraulic compounds having a total amount of propylene glycol, 2,3-butanediol, and 1,2-butanediol of 75 wt.% or more includes a step of introducing hydrogen at a pressure of 0.1-20 MPa to react methanol with glycerin as raw materials in the presence of a copper-containing catalyst at 200-280°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
