<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably convert 3D video signals to 2D video signals. <P>SOLUTION: The video signal converter is for converting three-dimensional video signals for displaying three-dimensional video images to two-dimensional video signals for displaying two-dimensional video images, and is equipped with: a determination means (120) for determining whether or not it is the state to display the two-dimensional video images instead of the three-dimensional video images on the basis of the display time of the three-dimensional video images or the position or movement of a viewer viewing the three-dimensional video images; and a conversion means (130) for converting the three-dimensional video signals to the two-dimensional video signals when determined that it is the state to display the two-dimensional video images. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
