<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LTCC substrate for mounting a light emitting element reduced in a gap for obtaining insulation between a metal reflection film and a wiring conductor formed on the substrate, and a method for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The substrate for mounting the light emitting element has a substrate body composed of a sintered body of a glass ceramic composition including glass powder and a ceramic filler and partially having a mounting surface which is a mounting part for mounting the light emitting element, a conductive reflection film covering almost the whole surface of the mounting surface and formed to form at least two independent areas, a part of which is a wiring conductor electrically connected to an electrode of the light emitting element, and an overcoat glass film covering a part of the mounting surface where the reflection film is not formed while being formed to cover the whole surface except a part being the wiring conductor of the reflection film. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
