PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processing apparatus that can output arbitrary destination information of an address book to an image forming apparatus as address book data.

SOLUTION: The data processing apparatus 100 includes a network I/F part 107 serving as a communication part for transmitting and receiving data to/from the image forming apparatus 200, and an input device 105 for accepting at least an input of selecting any or all of table data stored in an external storage part 104 and an instruction input which outputs the selected table data to the image forming apparatus 200. The network I/F part 107 outputs any or all of the selected table data to the image forming apparatus 200 as the address book data stored in the image forming apparatus 200. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent destination information not necessary or not desirable in the address book of the image forming apparatus 200 from being collectively registered in the image forming apparatus 200.
