MAGNETIC SENSOR, MAGNETIC DETECTOR, AND MAGNETIC HEAD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic sensor detecting magnetic flux from a fine region and suppressing an increase in element resistance.

SOLUTION: The magnetic sensor 1 has: a channel 7; a ferromagnetic body 12 and first and second reference electrodes 20A and 20B on the channel 7; a magnetic shield S1 for covering a part of the channel 7 opposing the ferromagnetic body 12; and an insulating film 7a disposed between the channel 7 and the magnetic shield S1. The magnetic shield S1 has a through-hole H extending toward the part of the channel 7 which opposes the ferromagnetic body 12.
