PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved method for forming a structurally defined organic molecule and substance, especially a structurally assumed organosilicon molecule. SOLUTION: There provided are methods for forming: an organic molecule comprising a step of contacting a hydrolase enzyme with an organic reactant; an organosilicon molecule comprising a step of contacting cutinase with an organosilicon reactant; and an organogermane molecule comprising a step of contacting a hydrolase enzyme with an organogermane reactant.
