PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge device capable of continuously discharging only a small quantity of a liquid substance at high speed even in the case of the liquid substance having high viscosity. SOLUTION: The liquid substance discharge device 1 has a tubular container 6, a needle 31 and an actuator 10 as basic components. A casing 60 has an airtight structure to which air pressure is applied, the tubular containing 6 has a flow passage control valve 73, and a displacement expanding mechanism 11 is added to the actuator for reciprocating the needle. A linear guide mechanism 20 is arranged to be parallel to the reciprocation track of the needle, and a gauge sensor 33 is arranged in a needle part. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
