PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately predict the time to replace a tube by considering influences of a slurry-like fluid material to be pressure-fed to the tube. SOLUTION: This is a method of predicting the time to replace the tube of the tube pump by: previously measuring the discharge pressure of the slurry-like fluid discharged from an end of the tube by test drive in the tube pump; adding the measured discharge pressure in order till the tube is broken to calculate the discharge pressure integrated value when the service life of the tube ended; measuring the discharge pressure of the slurry-like fluid discharged from the end of the tube and adding the measured discharge pressure in order; and displaying a present measured discharge pressure integrated value with the discharge pressure integrated value when the service life of the tube is ended. When the present measured discharge pressure integrated value is close to the discharge pressure integrated value when the service life of the tube is ended, it is notified that the time to replace the tube is coming soon.
