<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of raising the voltage of a battery by detecting the voltage drop of the battery even after a microcomputer is reset. <P>SOLUTION: In this idling stop device 1, the microcomputer 2 is reset when the voltage of the battery 51 is lowered and the voltage VCC of the power supply of the microcomputer 2 is less than the minimum operating voltage Vt of the microcomputer 2. The information of the voltage drop is stored in a storage part 3.
