<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which can obtain a color composite image and distance information using a plurality of imaging apparatuses, the imaging apparatus having improved sensitivity without degrading a resolution, and acquiring more color information. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes: two systems of imaging devices each for capturing a color image and outputting an image signal by performing photoelectric conversion on incident light for acquiring information of a distance to a subject; a distance information acquiring section for acquiring the information of the distance to the subject based on two systems of image signals; and a compositing section for compositing two systems of image signals to obtain a color image. Among the imaging devices, a first imaging device has a pixel constitution including a set of a transparent pixel and first and second primary color pixels among three primary colors of light, and a second imaging device has a pixel constitution including a set of the transparent pixel and a third primary color pixel and the first or second primary color pixel among three primary colors of light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
