PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an open showcase with simple structure capable of performing sales restrictions or the like for specific merchandise smoothly and severely while displaying merchandise on shelves. SOLUTION: An open showcase 1 including a plurality of shelves 3 for merchandise display in a display chamber 9 opening at the front, includes: a flexible cover 50 changed between a state in which a space 9A on a specific shelf 3 selected from a plurality of shelves 3 opens forward, and a state in which the front of the space 9A on the shelf 3 closes so as to prevent taking out at least merchandise S; and a locking device 45 disabling the front of the space 9A on the shelve to change from the closing state to the open state by the cover 50.
