METHOD AND DEVICE FOR RECOGNIZING SPEECH OF USER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device using speech recognition and a qualifier for recognizing speech of a user. SOLUTION: In the method for recognizing speech of a user by using the device: a set model of speech is previously stored; speech of the user is received for performing speech recognition; the speech of the user is compared with the previously stored model; recognition decision is carried out based on the comparison; the user can give a qualifier for limiting the comparison by touching the device; the qualifier identifies an item in a menu structure of the device; a subset model is selected from the stored model based on the qualifier given by the user; the subset model identifies a subitem of the menu structure; and comparison for performing recognition decision is carried out by comparing the speech of the user with the subset model.
