<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device that reduces focus detection errors caused by color information of a subject and optical characteristics of a photographing lens. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging device detects a focus using a contrast signal of a subject and includes: a storage means storing information on optical characteristics of a photographing lens; an imaging means outputting every contrast signal of a plurality of colors; a selection means selecting one calculation method from a plurality of calculation methods for a contrast evaluation value using a relative relationship of every contrast signal of the plurality of colors, outputted from the imaging means and the information on the optical characteristics stored in the storage means; an evaluation value calculation means calculating the contrast evaluation value using the calculation method selected in the selection means; and a control means drive-controlling the photographing lens based on the contrast evaluation value calculated in the evaluation value calculation means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
