PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an increase in cost by changing a color for an additional image to an appropriate color, when the color selected for use in printing the additional image is not included in colors selected for normal printing. SOLUTION: A controller 202 identifies a color mode in a step S702, and, in this case, the controller 202 determines the color mode as a two-color mode (S703). When in a step S710, the controller 202 determines that an additional image 270 is to be added, the processing advances to a step S711 and the controller 202 identifies two-color detailed settings. When in a step S720, the controller 202 determines that mode 1 is the two-color detailed setting (S721), the processing advances to a step S722 when the controller 202 determines that the color selected for an additional image is not black.
