PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a data processing device from becoming incapable of performing predetermined operation, due to failure of data being accumulated in a file. SOLUTION: The data processing device 1 which performs arithmetic processing by the use of pieces of time series data accumulated in the file at constant intervals, is provided, and the processing device 1 includes: a data processing unit 20 which starts arithmetic processing by the use of the time series data accumulated in the file by being triggered by a startup; and a first startup part 31 for starting the data processing unit 20, after deleting the time series data being accumulated in the file.
