PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latex which give a styrenic thermoplastic elastomer film excellent in transparency and metal adhesiveness. SOLUTION: A styrenic thermoplastic elastomer (A) and a polyvinyl alcohol resin (B) are melt-kneaded, the polyvinyl alcohol resin (B) in the obtained melt-kneaded matter is dissolved in water, and the styrenic thermoplastic elastomer (A) is dispersed in the water.
