<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information device and a program, which can suppress power consumption of an external device connected via a network, and perform backup of a data file to the external device. <P>SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus transmitting the data file to the external device connected via the network and performing the backup of the data file includes: a first transmission control means transmitting, to the external device, a first command to transfer a power supply of the external device to an ON state ahead of the transmission of the data file; a second transmission control means transmitting the data file to the external device after the first transmission control means transmits the first command; and a third transmission control means transmitting a second command to transfer the power supply of the external device to an OFF state to the external device after the first transmission control means transmits the first command and the second transmission control means finishes transmitting the data file. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
