<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the stop time of a wheel so that the braking characteristics of a vehicle can be improved. <P>SOLUTION: A method is designed for a brake system in which return pumps 6a, 6b are respectively provided, one for wheel-braking a front wheel and the other for a rear wheel, while independent braking circuits I, II are held, in which the plurality of return pumps 6a, 6b are driven by one common motor 12. In order to shorten the wheel stop time of at least one wheel at the time of performing ABS controlling, a valve 4a disposed between a main brake cylinder 3 and the intake side of the return pump 6a of the rear wheel braking circuit I is at least partially opened, so that the differential pressure on the return pump 6a of the rear wheel braking circuit I is lowered. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
