<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform zoom control suitable for an object and an imaged image, in a stereo imaging apparatus having zoom function which is variable. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes a zoom stereo imaging means for performing variable-zoom stereo imaging; a stereo image processing means for performing stereo image processing by using a stereo imaged image output by the zoom stereo imaging means to output a stereo image processing result; a stereo imaging control means for performing control of the zoom stereo imaging means and the stereo image processing means; an external I/F means for exchanging data with the stereo imaging control means and perform communication with the outside of the apparatus; a control data holding means for recording and reading the data; a pan-tilt control means for panning and tilting the zoom stereo imaging means; and an object recognition processing means for recognizing an object, by using the imaged image output by the zoom stereo imaging means and the stereo imaging processing result output by the stereo image processing means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
