PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge mechanism suitable for a small and thin electronic device with a large display device whose direction can be changed, while allowing rotation of the display device from a viewpoint of securing a degree of freedom of a layout design. SOLUTION: A hinge unit for connecting a base member and a member to be rotated includes a rotary shaft that moves in parallel according to the rotation of the member to be rotated to the base member.
