PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of reinforcing a through-hole formed in a beam by which the cost is reduced and fitting to the through-hole formed in a beam member is facilitated. SOLUTION: A ring-shaped reinforcing member 4 having an outer peripheral surface with an angle of inclination of 40°to 50°is cut out from a steel plate by gas cutting, laser cutting, plasma cutting or the like. An inclined surface 5 of the ring-shaped reinforcing member 4 is brought into contact with an inner surface of the through-hole formed in the beam member, and the part between a larger-diameter-side peripheral surface of the ring-shaped reinforcing member 4 and a surface of a web 3 of the beam member are temporarily welded at a plurality of positions in the peripheral direction. The inclined surface 5 of the ring-shaped reinforcing member 4 temporarily fixed to the web 3 of the beam member and the inner peripheral surface of the through-hole are welded and fixed by one-surface partial penetration welding.
