<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize an error of the coordinate value of a pressed point of a touch panel sensor from an actual pressed point. <P>SOLUTION: A coordinate input device includes a touch panel sensor, and a thermosensitive sensor sensing a pressing force to the touch panel sensor. When the touch panel sensor is pressed (Y in S101), a two-dimensional coordinate value of the touch position and a pressing force value indicating the pressing force to the touch panel sensor are acquired in the coordinate input device (S102). A storage unit stores a predetermined number of two-dimensional coordinate values to be obtained when the touch panel sensor is pressed with a proper pressing force (S105-S106). In the coordinate input device, an average of the two-dimensional coordinate values stored in the storage unit is calculated (S108), and the result is output as the coordinate value of the pressing point (S109). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
