<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to perceive a sufficient manipulation feeling in performing manipulation. <P>SOLUTION: An input device includes: a protective substrate 40 having a manipulation surface 40A which an object to be detected (the finger of a user) contacts and a front surface 40B on the opposite side of the manipulation surface 40A; a detection body 30 having a detection substrate 32 opposite to the front surface 40B on the back surface side of the protective substrate 40 and a detection electrode 34 formed on the detection substrate 32; and a vibrating body 50 which is fixed to the front surface 40B of a swelling part 42 swelled from the peripheral edge of the detection substrate 32 in the protective substrate 40.
