<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to use a device connected to a plurality of output terminals more comfortably. <P>SOLUTION: An AV amplifier 25 includes a plurality of HDMI(R) output terminals OUT<SB>1</SB>and OUT<SB>2</SB>, and four HDMI(R) input terminals IN<SB>1</SB>to IN<SB>4</SB>. The HDMI(R) output terminal OUT<SB>1</SB>is used as a primary HDMI(R) output terminal. A primary cluster is composed of a game apparatus 21, a recording reproducer 22, a reproducer 23, an STB 24, the AV amplifier 25 and a TV 26. A secondary cluster is composed of the AV amplifier 25 and a projector 27. The AV amplifier 25 performs a control to notify the projector 27 for the secondary cluster of the function of an HDMI(R) source connected to the four HDMI(R) input terminals IN<SB>1</SB>to IN<SB>4</SB>as a function of the AV amplifier.
