<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support control apparatus that more efficiently coordinates vehicle control and driver's operation based on a travel plan, thereby achieving the travel plan with higher degrees of achievement. <P>SOLUTION: An ECU (electric control unit) mounted on the vehicle defines two sections of "acceleration section" and "momentum traveling section" regarding a target speed pattern that can achieve improvement in generated fuel consumption, and implements the support control that can achieve the fuel consumption improvement in accordance with each defined section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
