<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure a physical quantity equivalent to a load (load torque, acceleration, or the like) of an intermediate transfer belt or the like of an image forming apparatus, with hardly increasing the apparatus cost. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus, a sensor detects passage of a mark 41 on the intermediate transfer belt 4, at a plurality of predetermined detection positions 61-1 to 61-10. A load deriving part specifies the time at which the sensor detects the passage of the mark 41, and derives the acceleration or the like of the intermediate transfer belt from the passage time T1 to T10 of the mark 41 at the plurality of detection positions 61-1 to 61-10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
