PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base wire capable of reducing exfoliation of an organic coating when manufacturing a coated saw wire having the organic coating on the surface, and also to provide the coated saw wire having the organic coating hard to exfoliate and excellent in peel resistance.
