PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a worktable which allows to easily and surely perform an assembly work and is excellent in structural stability. SOLUTION: A top plate support base 2 for supporting a top plate 5 includes a pair of side part leg frame bodies 6 and 6 whose front and rear leg posts 11 and 12 are connected by front and rear connection rods 14. The upper parts 15 and 15 of the right and left leg posts 11 and 11 on a front side are connected by a front right and left connection rod 7 and the upper parts 15 and 15 of the right and left leg posts 12 and 12 on a rear side are connected by a rear right and left connection rod 9. The front and rear right and left connection rods 7 and 9 have leg post fit-in recesses 67 into which the upper parts 15 of the leg posts 11 and 12 are fitted, at both end parts. When a drawing connection rod 10 draws the right and left side part leg frame bodies 6 and 6, the upper parts 15 of the leg posts 11 and 12 is brought into an engagement state of being abutted onto outer abutment pieces 43 and inner abutment pieces 47 constituting the leg post fit-in recesses 67. Thus, the raised states of the front and rear leg posts 11 and 12 in the right and left side part leg frame bodies 6 and 6 are kept, so as to stabilize holding with the use of one connection bolt 72.
