PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the stability with time of ketotifen or a salt thereof in an aqueous composition containing the ketotifen or the salt thereof, and obtained by imparting sufficient pH-buffering ability and heightening sense of use; and to prevent the formation of an insoluble material at the preparation of the aqueous composition. SOLUTION: The sufficient pH-buffering ability can be imparted by compounding glycyrrhizic acid or a salt thereof which are not generally exemplified as components having the pH-buffering ability with the aqueous composition containing the ketotifen or the salt thereof. The stability with the time of the ketotifen or the salt thereof in the aqueous composition containing the ketotifen or the salt thereof, and further formulating the glycyrrhizic acid or the salt thereof, and further a terpenoid is secured by formulating boric acid in concentration of≤0.5%.
